Birth date: 1994-04-26
Hometown: Lahore
Teams: Lahore Lions, Pakistan Under-19s

Named the Vice Captain of the Pakistan Under-19 side in 2013 after showing impressive leadership ability, he is also a highly rated middle-order batting prospect known for his abilty to perform under pressure.

Still early days in his domestic career, in the few matches he's played, Umar Waheed has certainly marked his presence. In the 2013 Faysal Bank ODI Cup, Umar Waheed had a decent outing and his innings of 96 against the Peshawar Panthers showed he wasn't phased by the step up to first-class cricket.

Umar Waheed has performed exceptionally well for Pakistan's Under-19 team, averaging 47.90 from 16 ODI matches. Having the ability to bat under pressure has resulted in his ability to garner respect from opposition and team-mates alike.

A regular for National Bank, Waheed has been selected for the Pakistan Under-23s and hopes remain high for his development as a batsman and eventual selection for the national squad.
