Pakistan fast-bowler to play for Middlesex in the 2015 Royal London One-Day Cup

PakPassion.net has learnt that Pakistan fast-bowler, Junaid Khan, has signed for English county side Middlesex to represent them in the 2015 Royal London One-Day Cup. Junaid is expected to join the county in time for the game against Lancashire on 29th July at Blackpool.
The Pakistan bowler last played in England with Lancashire in 2014 where he took 19 wickets in 10 Natwest T20 Blast matches with best figures of 4/12 and was instrumental in his side’s advance to the final of that competition. Apart from his pivotal role in Lancashire’s success during his stint in 2014, Junaid Khan also proved to be very popular with the Lancashire fans.
Khan has played 52 one-day internationals since his debut in April 2011 taking an impressive 78 wickets at an average of 25.72 at an economy rate of just above five. Surprisingly he has only featured in nine T20 internationals, where he has eight wickets at an average of 29.50.
Having missed the all-important 2015 World Cup due to a thigh injury sustained in training, the twenty-five year old fast-bowler finds himself side-lined for international duties due to some unimpressive performances against Bangladesh in April as well as fitness concerns and will be hoping that this stint with Middlesex will help in the revival of his stop-start international career.
