Son of the legendary Majid Khan, Bazid is an orthodox right-handed batsman who has represented Pakistan on six occasions without a great deal of success. In his only Test appearance against the West Indies in 2005, he could only muster 32 runs in 2 innings and was not considered for the longest format of the game ever again.

With 5 ODI appearances under his belt, Bazid has an average 26.20 at a disappointing strike rate of 56.46. Unfortunately, Bazid was unable to translate his success in the domestic circuit to the international arena.

Representing Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) now, Bazid remains a regular feature in the domestic cricket competitions in Pakistan. However the emergence of young, promising batsmen in the shape of Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq coupled with his declining performances in the domestic circuit mean that we might not see Bazid Khan in Pakistani colours again.

Bazid is now working on TV channels as a cricket analyst and commentator to give his expert opinion on the game.
