Right-arm fast bowler Azizullah was selected for the Under 19 World Cup 2012 after impressing the selectors with his speed and accuracy. He made his debut for the Pakistan Under-19s against South Africa Under-19s in January 2012. Before his selection in the Pakistan Under-19s, Azizullah took 38 wickets in 8 matches in the Inter-Region/Department Under-19 Tournament 2011/12 in Pakistan.

Later, in the thrilling quarterfinal clash against India Under-19s which Pakistan Under-19s eventually lost, Azizullah bagged 3 wickets for 30 runs in 10 overs, helping his side fight back after having been bowled out for a low score.
