Noddy: No one big influence, obviously family support was needed, Imran Khan did, to some extent as he gave me a Test debut

Noddy: Best batter, Miandad, bowler for me Waqar, Ian Bishop. WK hmm....Jack Russell, Rashid bhai

Noddy: Ponting, Lara, Laxman is getting there, as he is beginning to prove his worth to the Indian lineup.Flintoff is good to watch also.

Noddy: Shahid Yousaf, Mansoor Amjad, Imran Farhat, Taufeeq, Sami, they are all young

Noddy: I have mentioned 2 above, Salman Qadir may make it (gutsy attitude), Irshad,

PakPassion.Net: What changes, if any, do you think need making to domestic cricket in Pakistan?
Noddy: Pay association players to play games, get depts to sponsor regions, make domsestic cricket more marketable to put on tv..

PakPassion.Net: Your favourite ground and why?
Noddy: Many great grounds, MCG has atmosphere, they love their sport, Lords, for its history, Perth - if you can score there, u can anywhere, Trinidad - the posse is awesome !!!!

PakPassion.Net: Any players whom you think have had a raw deal by the Selectors/PCB?
Noddy: Not for me to say who has had a bad deal, we all have at some stage...!!!!

PakPassion.Net: What is the best advice you give to young players?
Noddy: Best advice, play your own game, with a positive mind, dont listen to too much advice.

PakPassion.Net: Who in your opinion is the current best batsman/bowler in the world?
Noddy: Lara is the best player in the world for me, bowler, Murali as a spinner, seamer wise...possibly McGrath

PakPassion.Net: Is Inzamam the right man for captaining Pakistan?
Noddy: Inzi is the senior most and experienced player, in our world that is how it goes....SO he is right for the moment

PakPassion.Net: In your opinion, where did Pakistan go wrong in the World Cup in SA?
Noddy: Pakistan preparations before games was wrong, thats why we failed, nothing else.

PakPassion.Net: If you were Shahryar Khan, what changes would you implement?
Noddy: If I was Chairman, I would go and sell the domestic game to sponsors.....and pay them at association level to motivate them.

PakPassion.Net: Who in your opinion has been Pakistans best ever player ?
Noddy: Miandad was the best player ever for me in Pakistan

PakPassion.Net: What are your views on Pak players and their stints in County Cricket?
Noddy: Playing county helps our players develop and refine their techniques, also get advice from quality coahces sometimes, and earn good money too !!!! It also helps when they go back with their country as they use that experience and pass advice onto junior players
