This time we catch up with a young left handed batsmen who has been scoring a truckload of runs and is making the selectors take notice. Naved Yasin has hit four centuries and one fifty in 5 games this season so far.

After a great start to the season in which Naved has been scoring runs for fun, PakPassion was able to catch up with this youngster to find out a little bit more about him and also so that we on PakPassion can track his progress. With his good form, future A tours are a real possibility.

He comes across as a nice lad who really wants to do well in his chosen profession. He has a good sense of humour too.

In his own words - Its my third season with Multan and I'm really enjoying working with Manzoor Elahi. He's an excellent coach and has really improved my game.

I've worked really hard in the off season and its paying off as I have done really well with 4 centuries and one half century in the 5 matches that I have played in so far. I'm averaging 90 and have scored 630 runs, so thanks to the Almighty things have been going well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the century against Karachi Blues especially coming up against pace bowler Mohammad Sami.

I played in a one day international for Pakistan Under 19s against Sri Lanka in 2005, but havent been given any further opportunties.

I like to bat according to the situation and feel that I am adaptable in all forms of the game.

Many thanks for contacting me and please ask all our website members to pray for my success".
