Nice stuff. Islamabad is a good team but it does depend on Ronchi's form. I doubt he will maintain last yeras performances. He did struggle in APL.

No doubt Islamabad would a team to beat in this year PSL like the previous 2 seasons. They are a very tough team to catch once they get the move on. What's fascinating to see is the amount of chances they give to young and up coming Cricketers. We probably would have never known of Shadab had it not been for Islamabad. Misbah unlike his national teams captaincy was also pretty keen to give chances to youngsters which helped Islamabad to be the winners of 1st edition of PSL

It’s got the best spin attack with Shahdab, Zafar, Zahir and Samit as part of their potential starting eleven. With one left arm chinaman, one right arm leg brake, and two left arm spinners this team has everything a spin attack requires.
Plus, if Rumman Raees regains his fitness and Sami finds the right form, then they are THE team of PSL.

Islamabad United have way too many all-rounders in the squad, they should have cut down on some of those selections and should have selected more specialists.

Good analysis Saj. Islamabad United indeed are favourites. And the fact that they have picked Ian Bell this year shows they have a good think tank.
