I'm from Rawalpindi and I'm supporting three teams. would be happy if anyone of these teams win it. It would be very hard to challenge Mundays from Sialkot, lahore and Karachi though.

Pindi/ Islamabad and Peshwar (Younis Khan)

Well even if Amir is not there, I would support this team in its matches because even though I was born and raised in Karachi, both my paternal and maternal relatives are from Pindi/Islamabad. And also because I'm looking forward to seeing Hammad Azam and Raza Hasan play.

Expecting Sohail Tanvir to have a very good tournament, dude looked like a beefed up serial killer in those NCA pictures. Also think young Raza will be very tough to smash around on these tracks.

My dark horse, if picked, is Akhtar Ayub who was bowling 88-89mph last time I saw him (U19WC).

Raza Hasan will be very hard to score off. His control is superb and I love the way he gets the ball to dip very late.

Yasir Arafat should open the bowling with Tanvir, his vast T20 experience in England will come in handy.

Amir was getting outrageous inswing with the new ball in that game, think Rana survived the plumb lb or two. Rumour has it Asif & Razzaq's mental scarring in this game caused one to opt out of the tournament and the other to switch teams. No hiding place this time though.

I am sure Karachi mafia played its part as well in making sure amir is not selected this time.

Rawalpindi always had one or two good players despite having no facilities to promote the game. Early memories bring a name to mind which will be as alien to most of you Pindiwals as martians. Therewas a spinner in the 50s/60s by he name of Miran Bux. He was good bu had practiclly no opportunities to show his skills due to his back ground, in other words he did not have friends who could pull some strings. I think he was given couple of test matches against India. I also remember the present chairman of pcb playing in a schools tournament for St. Mary's Cambridge against Islmia High school in the final.. Maqsood Ahmed was one of the earlier generation from Rawalpindi. Munir Malik played a few test matches home nd abroad.. Anis mohammed elder brother of a friend . Test plyer Imtiaz Ahmed came out and played for Seervices XI wheneve a match was given to Pindi.

In those days only two cities were pencilled out for selection of test players i..e. Lahore and Karachi. The siuation has changed now and it is shown in the formation of teams, good or bad players from other regions f the country have a representation in the national teams.

I might be singing praises of Lahore, Karachi or Chuhr kana, my heart will always be in Rawalpindi despie a distance of 4,000 miles.

In its simplest form, a is just a large, heavy log carried by several people and propelled with force against an obstacle; the would be sufficient to damage the target if the log were massive enough and/or it were moved quickly enough, and if it had enough momentum. It relies on impact damage to achieve its purpose. Materials like stone and brick are weak in tension, so will crack when impacted. With repeated impact, the cracks grow steadily until a hole is created, which will grow in size as battering occurs. The greater the weight of the , the faster and more serious the damage to what is impacted, although different materials will show varying resistance to the .

What's Jamal Anwar like behind the stumps? He seems young and inexpierenced. His batting doesn't look to good as he came in behind Amir last year.

Up the Rams and Leopards. We need to teach those uppity Dolphins, Stallions and Lions a lesson. Those lot think they've got the tournament tied up already.

come on you rams, make rawalpindi proud

will be interesting to see akhtar ayub after a long time. but he probably won't even make it into the team as the rams already have so many good bowlers.

Budhay Langray Lions. :akmal
Lahore Loomers or Lahore LagrBagr or Lahore Lailay would be a proper name for this set of players.

Honestly I don't see a reason for making two separate teams for Rwp/Isb. One would've been enough and that would've been some quality team

Apparently a lot of kids in here haven't watched the Discovery Channel.
It's a known fact that Rams eat lions.. actually, they're at the top of the food chain.
