that's right. but i feel akmal has somehow destroyed sami's career. everytime sami plays akmal is bound to drop a catch or two off his bowling.

Exactly. Sami must be the unluckiest bowler in the world due to Akmal. How many sitters were dropped off Sami's bowling against England? And Kaneria aswell!

Kallis should have been caught by our numbskull keeper of Kaneria, Akmal didnt even attempt to catch the ball instead he left Younis a difficult ball to which Younis reacted late as he anticipated the keeper would take the catch.

Haven't seen it, but a Keeper should go for every ball even if he is going across first slip. Just shows his lack of confidence and anticipation especially against spinners. To the seamers on the whole he isn't too bad, sometimes brilliant.

There are days, and they are becoming increasingly frequent, when I want to do the same thing!

And quite Rightly so.. Here's a poor chap trying to revive his career and there's a person who's hell bend on dropping chances. At the end, the wicket column is that matters. Dropped catches aren't accounted for.

The differnece was that sami was beeing led by Younis khan not Inzi and Yk must have told sami to go flat out and get wickets. Sami looks so much better when he is bowling flat out and believe me he was generating serious pace. He must have touched 147km/hr atleast.

Tell me, could you keep a straight face and say that? We seem to be the witch hunters of the middle ages who acted without reason. Inzi seems to be the new witch. You guys won't rest till he's thrown out will you? You saw us in the CT without Inzi. And don't say we didn't have asif or shoaib. Coz under inzi we've won without those two.

Sami wasn't tested today since Shoaib cleaned up the Saffies...his real test will come in the second innings where Saffies are expected to bat better.

one wicket doesn't end bad luck. He should know he will have to perform regularly like this to keep place when Gul and Shabir are fit.
