the man needs to get a shorter haircut - his style is a bit like the HAMLET cigar bloke.. bald with a strand at the front which he flips over his head!

Poor guy, a mere shadow of his former self. To think we are now judging shoaib on his waist size. How desperate have we become?

He looks fit and his recent bowling performances such as 3-3 in 3 overs in 20:20 suggest he is also in very good form. In a format of the game made for batsmen as well.

All Pakistani Centrally contracted players have to wear a phone on their hand...it is part of a deal with Idiots and Bafoons limited; a company trying to promote the 'Important Useage' of Cell Phones in Pakistan!

The reasons: They don't think having 99.99% of Pak population as Cell Phone users is not enough...

why didn't he just call the person he was pointing to. Bad phone plan or is he letting the person know he will call and suddenly flip open the phone?

Yes he is looking better but that is like saying that Mick Hucknall is better looking than Shane Macgowan. It is all relative.

Doesn't matter what he looks like; the fact of the matter is that he's struggling to bowl 4 over spells and is now skipping matches because he's unfit. Pathetic, but not surprising.

Umm, you can't grow your hair back when you're rapidly balding. See the white facial hair growing as well? This guy is aging worse than Andy Caddick!

I feel really sorry and sad to say this but one of the sideeffects of powerful anabolic steroids is Rapid Hairloss. I would have given my everything to support him in his drugs case but the way he has lost hair from 2003 to now, it does raise serious questions in my mind now.

Wow...look at the hairloss! Looks a totally different person compared to a couple of years ago. Sad to see! When do you think the decline of Shoaib started, regarding his body? I mean when exactly did he start putting on so much weight? I remember him bowling in 99 and he looked so fit. Good muscle, and he could bowl long spells. However, after 2000-2001 when his bowling action was questioned, that's when I feel he lost control over his weight. He gained excess muscle and always appeared 'too big' 2003 onwards. I remember in the 03 WC, I saw him bowling against Aus, and my first thought was damn, this guy looks so 'big' compared to a couple of months ago when he was playing Aus in a test series.

I doubt he has. Shoaibs pace was at its peak at 2002-2003. And, 2002 was Shoaib at his peak in pace and destructiveness, and 2003 was when he was just sheer pace and nothing else...04 was when he got slow, and started to get fatter...and. I think from 05 onwards he started to lose hair and just become blubber, but, in the 05 series against england and india, his pace wasn't there yet, maybe in india it was, but he did seem tooo fat...

U can't always relate hairloss to the ''steroid factors'.some people lose their hair quite rapidly .I am really surprised to see M Zahid as well.
