ICC World Twenty20 Warm-up Matches

I didn't know that the warm up matches had started already.

Windies defeated Scotland by 14 runs:
http://content.cricinfo.com/wt202009...ch/406385.html

PCA Masters XI won by 6 wickets over Irealand:
http://content.cricinfo.com/wt202009...ch/406439.html

Both matches were low scoring contests and mayb we wont see so many big scores in this WC?

Looking forward to Pakistan - India warm up match, only 3 days left now.

pakistan shouldnt expose their tactics and "surprise" packages in the warm up matches...
if they are looking for eg for mohd aamir to make an impact they should save him just like sohail tanvir in the last t20...
no one had seen him before that and look what happened to jayasuriya

Can't wait for the T20 warm ups for Pakistan! Shouldn't expose too much tactics, just like sallu has said.

The matches so far are the "unofficial" warmup matches at the venues other than Trent Bridge, The Oval and Lords.

Cricinfo:Sri Lankans scrap Oxford visit.

Not strictly a warm up match, but a piece of news about pre-tournament activites.

I'm actually a little worried about the LTTE and their ilk with regard the T20 world cup.

And that too was due to a misfield from Mashrafe Mortaza. NZ needed 2 to win off the last ball it went straight to Mash who should've stopped it cleanly but he slipped and gave away an extra run and victory to New Zealand. The match should've been a tie.

This bunch is motivated. The ICL exodus has been a positive for us. The newer players like Mahmudullah and Shakib are not as talented as some of those who left such as Alok, Aftab and Nafees but they are willing to put in the hard work and perform consistently and it has reaped benefits for us.

Well bangladesh will be a very dangerous side with Alok, aftaab and shariar nafees back. Especially Alok played som big innings in ICL, never thought he was a six-hitter but he smashed them handsomely.
Besides if they come back to the team then there will be a healthy competition for the places and cricket will improve in bangladesh.

Well I want them all back but so far the only person to have returned is Bashar, the most useless of the lot. Alok is number 1 in my priority list. According to him he has recieved an offer from Bangalore Royal Challengers but he doesn't want to return because he has problems with officials in the BCB. He made some very serious allegations about the top officials in the BCB and now it looks very unlikely that he will return.

Im torn on this. The converse is, ofcourse, that Aamer can get some much needed experience in front of a screaming crowd under his belt.

Bangladesh test and odi inns usually last about 20 overs, so T20 should come naturally to them lol

Amir should play in the warm ups cos i dont think he should be preferred ahead of the likes of arafat or tanvir
