Pippo scores again :*) and 'Tina get a goalless draw against the Nerazzurri which means Milan leapfrog Jose's boys into 3rd, just one point behind Udinese and Napoli.

Filippo Inzaghi has extended his contract with Milan until 2010 despite the increased competition for places.

“I am happy, truly happy,” he told the official club website. “There is a rapport between me and this side that goes beyond everything.”

SuperPippo put pen to paper today on a new deal keeping him at San Siro for another season so that he can add to his tally of 103 goals in 222 games for the Diavolo.

It means he will be practically 37 years old when the contract expires and will have played for 11 campaigns in the Rossoneri jersey.

“The greatest night was in Athens, without a shadow of a doubt,” he said of the brace that beat Liverpool in the 2007 Champions League Final.

“I will never forget that night. It is a feeling that still lives within me and I know it was also very important for all our fans.”

That was just one of the goals that marked Inzagol’s remarkable record, as he has scored in the Intertoto Cup, UEFA Cup, Cup Winners’ Cup, Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup.

There were fears Inzaghi’s career would be cut short by repeated injuries and the increase in competition for places with the arrival of Ronaldinho, Andriy Shevchenko, Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello.

“I always said that I’ll keep playing as long as I feel good and right now I feel great. President Silvio Berlusconi and general manager Adriano Galliani have always charged me up. We’ll see how it goes, year by year.”
Time for a party

Nobody watching Milan-Udinese?

4 goals in the first 18 minutes already and it looks like there's going to be a lot more if both sides keep this up :*)

Well I'd point out that you can watch Serie A games (along with some other leagues) for free on Bet365 with no need to spend a penny on gambling but there's no point on here.

Surrounded by people that have brainwashed by the self-congratulating "Best League In The World" propaganda to such an extent that they think nothing at all when Del Piero scores a freekick against Real in the CL and all Richard Keys can say is "He must have been watching Ronaldo".

4-1, could easily be 8-3 or something silly. Some unbelievably sexy football being played, Dunga wishes he could get Brazil to look like this.

Maldini

5-1, Kaka curls it beautifully into the top corner from the edge of the area and Udinese have pretty much given up now while Milan don't seem to be interested in running up the score and totally humiliating their opponents. Now it's just a race between Kaka and Pato to see who can get their hat-trick first in between all the fancy flicks and one touch passing around the box.

May as well quote this so it doesn't get lost on the bottom of the last page:

Barcelona have with complete disdain banished Milan from the Camp Nou to win the Joan Gamper trophy for a record 34th time.

Reserve goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto decided to let old f@rt Inzaghi have a happy moment in the 67th minute by not going for a mishit volley and allowing the 1-1. He was on his game, however, for the ensuing penalty shootout, saving 3 feeble Milan attempts to hand the championship to Barcelona.

Poor Milan have once again been sent home packing while Grande Barcelona are champions again.

fortunately they don't seem to have any clips of Robinho's attempts to impersonate a professional footballer, I'm cringing each time he gets the ball right now. Let's hope Allegri takes him off soon, this match needs some Pippo.

What a beautiful strike - sweet!

Cant believe Seedorf is still playing!

Saw Edgar Davids play for Palace on Tuesday v Cardiff - he bossed our midfield! Unbelievable

What a goal. Couldn't believe it when I saw it. For the life of me I can't understand why Pirlo doesn't shoot more often. You could easily produce a highlight reel of every long range beauty he's scored.

Let me say this now, Pirlo is back. He's had a below par season last year and an average season the year before. But this year he's rolled back the years and he is just producing some magical form again. Nobody on this planet can pick a better pass than Pirlo and nobody on this planet when, on form, can control the pace of the game better than him.
