Ahmed Shehzad Must Be Utilized Like Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is an opener by trade but because his talent is so overwhelming and India already have openers they will use him anywhere to get him a game. I think Pakistan needs to use Ahmed in a similar manner. Bat him anywhere from 3 to 6.

Kohli an opener? Lol all his career has been a middle order batsman, be it first class cricket or shorter formats.

He made his debut as an opener becase the middle order was packed. See this series for example. We have no openers but we have not made Kohli open, rather its Rohit who is the opener as Kohli is now seen as the next big hope for our middle order.

LOL, if a Pakistani had performed like that in ODIs he would be hailed as the next Viv Richards (oh no we've already done that)

And Kohli, instead, is regarded as a poorer batsman like Shahzad

Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shahzad and Virat Kohli are 3 different players.

Virat Kohli is the only one who understands that he must bat maturely to survive at top level.

It would be an insult for Kohli the talented lad if we compare him with Shehzad , compare Shehzad with Murali Vijay or Rohit Sharma , seems perfect

The OP needs to know that they are boht different type of players.

And when Shehzad is more comfortable in opening than why play him down the order? It's his preferred position.

This is a very serious question.

Are you Pakistani or you are an Indian?

Do I only have to put a picture of " Afridi the Joker" in display or say something like " Virat is a FTB while Umar is the next viv Richards" to look like a Pakistani?

Comparing a successful performer like Virat with Shehzad is like comparing Amir with Ishant Sharma.
