U Akmal is not a clean hitter of the ball. I've seldom seen him hit a clean six...he muscles them. He is strong runner..innovative hitters..sometimes too innovative for my liking.

I agree he deserves some blame today, but literally 3 days ago he "played an innings" and got us to a respectable score.

First innings at 4 after a long while and people are after his head ,give him a consistent run please. Asad played well but he is still down both in average and sr. Akmal is a far better one day player and saved Pakistan's @rse many times like the last game , in a dead rubber it is ok not to perform.

Yes he did. But I think his role should be a 5-6 player.

Right now though, I feel he should be given a proper run at 4 but with his "intelligence", he is a best 6 right now.

I have been asking YK to be dropped since 2009. Wanted Yousaf over him for the world cup. But me having a go at Umar has nothing to do with YK.

Problem I have when ppl say others are blocking him from batting at 3/4 as he is the next Inzi and Tendulkar. He is slightly more refined version of Afridi but not as talented as Afridi.
