Typical response by a Younis Khan fanboy

How does bringing up Malik amounts to a response to my post.

Actually Ive asked this question to Younis Khan fanboys a few times, but they have no answer. How is Younis Khan a man of integrity and character, the pride of Pakistan, when he hogs a spot in the ODI team and keeps out youngsters?

Im gonna sig this actually

It's not their fault that the blues could only manage 220. Greens were playing according to the situation, they would have chased it down easily had the dust storm not interfered.

Chasing 300 will be very hard though.

Being younger is a disadvantage IMO as Pakistan batsman are not the best and need time to develop unlike our fast bowlers and Azhar is hardly that old, most openers your talking about will be extravagant and all style however I am sure they will be found out in international cricket. Azhar Ali should open IMO along with Nasir Jamshed however Jamshed is injured. I like Ahmed Shahzad but main issue with him is his attitude.

azhar is 27 same age as alaister cook and a bit younger than AB de villers
and the age is a small factor

Umar akmal is our top ranked odi batsmen, then players like shezhad , jamshed ( when he returns) and harris sohail to name a few all deserve it more than azhar. In the odi squad his selection was was a major flop should never be there, cant score quickly under pressure in odis, we saw that against eng weew he completely bottled it after a good start

We are already stuck with younis who is beyond crap, no need to bring in azhar

LOL still don't know why or how he is selected again, can't wait for his cut shots which hit nothing but thin air and occasionally he will get an edge which will fly over the slips.

and the age is a small factor

Umar akmal is our top ranked odi batsmen, then players like shezhad , jamshed ( when he returns) and harris sohail to name a few all deserve it more than azhar. In the odi squad his selection was was a major flop should never be there, cant score quickly under pressure in odis, we saw that against eng weew he completely bottled it after a good start

We are already stuck with younis who is beyond crap, no need to bring in azhar
Younis should not be playing however all the guys you have mentioned are all stroke makers we need to balance it out, I just think he is a solid player and has ingredients to do fairly well as an anchor through the innings. Need to see what Harris does in int cricket however he does seem to have the potential.

Please stop my mouth is already watering at the prospect, him in ODI's and Faisal in tests and if that isn't enough we will get Sami bowling unplayable deliveries when it's time to bowl.

Actually, Sami's bowled extremely well over the past year. What I don't get is where are Fawad Alam and Usman Salahuddin? Where is Sadaf Hussain? Don't our selectors watch any domestic? Why select on so-called technique if they don't have a great average? I don't care if someone has the worst technique in the world as long as they average 40+ in the tests they've played and the highest ever for FC in Pakistan? Yes, I mean Fawad Alam

I agree on Fawad and would replace Shafiq with him in tests and also Fawad is excellent in ODI's too, in regards to Sami I'm just going off his past international performances.

It's all politics nothing else if our teams would be picked on merit we would be so much better than we are.

I'd persist with Shafiq in tests. Actually, we have so much talent in the Middle Order that we could rotate the youngsters about with one of Misbah or Younis still there. Experience+Talent and we'd no longer be one of the worst batting lineups
