left the board rich...none of the irregularties existed hence unproven.. butt was a joke in the NA for mouthing off about the same.

then came ijaz "basket case" butt.

his (Nasim Ashraf's) only fault was that he did not banish asif and shoaib for a few years after their first doping scandal. Should have thrown the two out for at least a couple of years.

Not going to defend Butt but there was plenty of references filed by the NAB against DNA for financial irregularities, not just DNA but his cronies like Shafqat Naghmi too. The financial condition of the board deteriorated massively during their tenure from 2006 to 2008. The fact DNA left Pak urgently after Musharraf's resignation in 2008.

Not surprising at all. This government, with support from PML-N, has been after the Musharraf government like a wild dog. Cricket administration, unfortunately is part of the national government in Pakistan.

Hard to say who to pick, considering that none have been outstanding. I've been extremely impressed with Zaka Ashraf so far. Also, Tauqir Zia gave us the NCA, which was desperately needed and has helped Pak cricket immensely.
