Looking forward to the Leic v Notts game on Tuesday. Waiting to see what Razzaq can do for Leic this year without Ronald by his side. It'll be live on sky as well.

Friends Life T20

The Friends Life T20 starts tomorrow with Leicestershire vs Nottinghamshire. The game will be televised on Sky Sports. Leicestershire's overseas players are Razzaq and Sarwan. Not sure about the overseas players for Nottinghamshire and don't really care considering I'm a Derbyshire fan.

This year there is a different with 3 groups of 6. This year I think the competition will be wide open. Don't really have much expectations for my Derbyshire team. We got Rana Naved who I don't trust considering what I have heard about for example the Australia tour and Usman Khawaja who is not a T20 player.

Ruri my good friend, I will be going to the Lancashire game on Thursday. Hopefully we can beat you and have a good cup run.

C'mon you Falcons

Mods you can merge this with County Cricket 2012 if you want

Really enjoy watching Friends Life T20 competition every year. Went to the finals last year at Edgbaston and it was an amazing day out.

Who are the overseas players for each county? I have read Afridi will be back for Hampshire.

Who do you support?

Derbyshire - Rana and Khawaja
Lancashire - Arafat
Somerset - Levi
Glamorgan - North and Marsh
Leicestershire - Sarwan and Razzaq
Northampton - Vaas
Gloucestershire - I think Murali and Williamson

If anyone can fill out the blanks that would be great

Hampshire for sure. Big fan of Afridi therefore I support his domestic side too. Also fan of Dimitri Mascarehnas and Neil Mckenzie so automatically I support Hamsphire.

I also enjoy watching James Taylor play but he's moved this year from Leicestershire. Massive fan of Jos Butler too. I'm sure he'll do well this season for Somerset.

Hampshire for me and then Leicstershire due to Razzaq.

So far 4 out of 9 games ended in no result due to rain. Not the ideal start to the razzmatz of t20.

More shower predicted all week and next week.

Today's game on Sky was abandoned...arggh.

Razzaq's finished, can barely play club T20s anymore, no way he's international level. He was bowling around 70-75 mph today.

Forget The RUns that Razzler leaked, why is hew opening the batting and not making the most of the PP, 17 off 17 aint gonna chase you 150 at the top, he was better off coming in at number 5 and finishing with 40 off 30 or something similar...

He has not done justice this season and has not put together much team winning performances let alone single handed match winning ones which hes capable of, thats one of the reasons they sitting at the bottom of the table, no wonder he cannot get into currnt Pakistan setup, but they no wiser for not playing Azam...

When he came down the order, he cried that we're doing him injustice and we should send him up the order where he has more opportunity to score runs, now that he's opening with Leicester, he's making 17 runs off 17 in PP overs

Razzaq was the sole reason they lost yesturday. He has really become an embarrassment even on the domestic scene. He conceded 16 off the last over which was the difference. When he came to bat he was all over the shop. Didnt have a clue on how to play Starc. 17 0ff 17 was really poor. His running between the wickets is comical. Probably get booted by Leicestersire at the end of the season.

he is completely finished on all levels now. Time to hang the boots

Nah, they lost because of a lack of experience in the batting line-up (after losing McDonald, James Taylor and Paul Nixon from last season) resulting in four needless run outs.

The suicidal run out of Josh Cobb was the match-decider.

Wow! Why so much hatred?

Did you forget that he took 3 wickets and actually scored 17 runs. That is an acceptable performance in a T20 match.

Its not hatred its an honest assessment. In his prime he was one of my favourite players but now he has become an embarrassment with both bat and ball.

In fact all three Rana, Razzaq and Azhar have been awful. I mean really awful. Must be age cathcing up with them . All three of them in reality must be over 40. They definitly play like 40+ year olds.
