Who would you rather bowl to?

There are some great power hitters in the cricketing world.

My question is: Who would you rather bowl to out of these five power-hitters?

Chris Gayle
Kieron Pollard
David Warner
Virender Sehwag
Shahid Afridi

Afridi, I reckon I can get him out 6 times in an over.
Then I'd say pollard because he doesn't have an off side game.

Probably Afridi, because he just swings his bat at basically everything, while the others in this list actually hit some good shots, like fiery cut shots for 4. But Afridi hits every ball literally in the air, so I can just bowl a bouncer to him and get him out.

Sehwag , if I get hit for es I can always say I am not even a good enough bowler to begin with but if I get him out , we can trash and bash the FTB

For me personally it's very difficult to choose, as I'm a spinner

But I do feel that I'll have the best chance against Afridi or Warner.

No chance I would want to bowl to Gayle

unfair question, pollard and afridi are the only guys that are in the team as bowlers/all rounders.... cant compare specialized openers batting ability to bowling allrounders who bat at 6/7

Let me put it into perspective for you then. Let's say there are last 5 overs remaining in the match, who would you rather bowl these overs to?

As a fast bowler who's unexpectedly also good with spin, I'd be confident bowling against four of them - Afridi for obvious reasons, Pollard and Warner for their sure-kill susceptibility against spin, and Sehwag for his definite weak-point - footwork against pace. Not that I wouldn't love the challenge of bowling to Gayle but those four, I'd actually fancy my odds of doing well against them.

Warner probably. He's a great hitter but I love bowling to left handers, Bowling to Gayle would make me suicidal, so Warner's a safer bet

I am a spinner so no way i am gonna be bowling to Sehwag. Afridi is also good against spinners but i reckon i'd get him out a few times.

I'd play Pollard and pwn him.

I would love to bowl against all of them! It would be one of my best moments of my life.

My best chance of getting player out would be Afridi>Warner>Pollard>Gayle>Sehwag

Now people may be wondering why not Gayle at the end. Well 2 reasons 1) I love bowling against Left handers and I think I can really trap him by bowling round the wicket and trap him for LBW. 2) I have natural outswinger, I can't bowl inswingers, I can just angle it, and Sehwag's weakness: if you sharp inswinger then you can bowled him or trap as he doesn't move his feet much. So, since I don't have inswinger, he would probably be least of these batsman to get out.

Btw. honestly, none of these batsmen will be troubled by any of us, yes, even Afridi, unless you play really really good! No being best bowler in your club doesn't make difference.

I am a good bowler for my club...but honestly all these players will kick the ***** out of me....

But If I had to choose....It will be Gayle...I have a history of getting left handers out caught at slip...

would like to bowl to all of them though

Warner because, being a leggie, I think he really struggles against spin

My choice would be Pollard > Afridi > Sehwag .

I am a fast bowler whose always striving for pace .. even * chucking * odd ones without anyone noticing ;) and the bowling plan is identical to brett lee's . So a bouncer for Afridi and a Yorker for Pollard and if luck's on my side maybe get Sehwag with a cramping off-stump channel .

They would all smash the daylights out of everyone on PP, i would bowl to pollard on a green top in cloudy conditions with a new ball, awayswinger outside off stump edge to keeper or slip.

Weirdly, I'd bowl to the best batsman out of those lot - Sehwag.

I bowl a load of rubbish, and then from nowhere, once every few overs I get one to jump off a good length even on dead tracks.

He doesn't like those.

Sadly for you that wasn't one of the options

Interesting to see most people picking Afridi, I thought that would be the case.
