Looks to me that Yardy has a good temperament.

He looks alright. He plays with a straight bat and bowls tight spells of spin, an all-rounder that you would think would be even more suited to India than England. He deserves a chance in the CT!

It's about damn time as well! A fine player and he should have been given a place earlier.

He looks the part from what I've seen so far. His averages suggest that he's an out and out one day player though.

I must add that if ENG sort out their pace bowling options then they could atleast reach the semifinals stage of CT. Yardley & Darylempere would be quite effective in the middle overs & ENG have the batsman to upset superior teams.
But if the pace bowlers failed in powerplays then no chance.

Been surprised by the amount he turns it - I guess that explains why Monty isnt in the ODI squad.

the way he bats! his leg on the side-very weird and funny! but he is a good player. Can bat and spin it as well. Very useful cricketer for Eng in ODI's!

His stance is peculiar, but by the time the ball is released he is in a much more orthodox position.

I take my words back-He's rubbish and rightly kicked out from the team.

BTW does PAK made Yardy look so 'special'?

Pakistan has a habit of making players look much better than they really are.
