TESTS: Best batting line ups and ratings

Here list your top 10 batting line ups in test matches (only ten teams play test matches ) and rate them out of 1000 points so we know where each team stands, so we can gauge the difference between two teams in ability even if they're ranked next to each other.
estimated
1. australia 920 points
2. india 860 points
3. south africa 830 points
4. sri lanka 815 points
5. england 780 points
6. new zealand 660 points
7. west indies 610 points
8. pakistan 530 points
9. bangladesh 350 points
10. zimbabwe 320 points

now use your own estimation your own method and give a ranking AND rating so we can gauge how far apart the teams are in batting ability in TEST matches ACCORDING TO YOU.

this point becomes all the more important for pak after the devasting batting display in almost all series in last few years (almost all series) and the growing importance of batting vis-a -vis bowling.

I know we are horrid at batting but I wouldn;t put us past West Indies...they are just plain terrible who lost to us at hoem and we were not even playing good cricket.

I wouldnt even put us past NZ, didn't anyone just see them get raped in South Africa? Atleast we put up a better showing.

it's sad that mods deleted the (sensitive) thread on whether europeans are better than subcontinentals or not. if this is the mood of debates in pakistan no doubts and no wonder pakistan is and has been in turmoil. instead of moving forward pak has been moving backward.

amir can you post your own subjective ratings these are all subjective. i may agree west indies is worse/better depending on circumstances, but new zealand batting is better than pak since they're playing saffers bouncy green top pitches, while pak was playing at HOME, on dead tracks (and in india too against fragile indian bowling) and pak still lost quite terribly

that should be a different thread siddharth. i thought you had posted your own ratings since you're from india a strong batting nation historically and today pak is not a great bowling nation today anymore although historically it has been so
