Announcement

Dear Members and Guests

The PakPassion team are delighted to welcome you back to our forums.

You will have noticed that we have re-launched the forums with a new software that we feel will provide our members with a much better all-round experience.

As with any upgrade, it will take a bit of time to get used to and there may be some issues that will need correcting. We have set up this thread

for you to report any issues that need looking into by our technicians or if you have any suggestions regarding the design and the layout of the forums.

We thank you for your patience whilst the forums were not available, but as you can imagine, a project like this takes a lot of planning, organising and hard work.

So, welcome back and happy posting!

Peshawar Zalmi Team

Mohammad Hafeez, Tamim Iqbal, Kamran Akmal, Eoin Morgan, Shakib al Hasan, Sohaib Maqsood, Shahid Afridi, Darren Sammy, Wahab Riaz, Hasan Ali, Junaid Khan.

Quetta Gladiators Team

Asad Shafiq, Ahmed Shehzad, Kevin Pietersen, Rilee Rossouw, Sarfraz Ahmed, Mahmudullah Riad, Thisara Perera, Mohammad Nawaz, Anwar Ali, Hassan Khan, Zulfiqar Babar.

Sarfraz Ahmed won the toss and opted to field once again. Both teams made a few changes with Zalmi including the Bangladeshi duo of Tamim and Shakib. Tamim started the innings well for Zalmi but Hafeez stalled at the crease, making a painstaking 16 before being dismissed by Mahmudullah. Kamran Akmal was soon out to Hasan Khan for a duck whilst Rossouw came on to bowl in a surprise change and straight away dismissed Morgan. However, Maqsood gave some impetus to the innings before rain halted play. The overs were reduced to 16 a side, and Zalmi went after the bowlers once the match resumed. Tamim was impressive as Peshawar finished on a high at 117/3 in 16 overs with the opener making 62* off just 46 balls. Quetta's chase never got underway due to intermittent rain delays with the match ultimately called off as both teams shared the points.
