Bangalore, India is to be the home for an innovative and unique pace bowling foundation run by International fast bowling expert Ian Pont.

In January 2014, I will be launching an innovative and unique pace bowling foundation in Bangalore, India. I will head up The Ultimate Pace Foundation following an agreement with the Karnataka Institute Of Cricket (KIOC).

The idea is simple. We want to offer the best coaching for teaching speed, accuracy and injury prevention. Most coaching is all about getting a fast bowler to slow down and bowl within their comfort zone. We will teach bowlers how to increase their pace, whilst staying safe in their action to become the best version of themselves.

The Ultimate Pace Foundation is a ‘pay and play’ facility, open to all. There are to be 10-day intensive camps in January, March, June, August and November, thus offering coaching throughout the year to all cricket playing nations. It has full, 3G all weather run-ups, 8 nets of turf and coir matting, S&C gym, a physiotherapist and video analysis facilities.

We can’t wait to welcome players from all parts of India as well as from around the world.
