Wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Haris became only the fifth Pakistani to score a T20I century, smashing an unbeaten 107 to lead Pakistan to a commanding chase of 197 in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on Sunday night.

With this win, Pakistan completed a 3-0 series sweep over the visitors, registering their fifth-highest successful T20I run chase by reaching the target with 16 balls to spare. Haris’ 45-ball century stands as the second-fastest for Pakistan in T20Is, just behind Hasan Nawaz’s 44-ball ton against New Zealand earlier this year.
Pakistan's chase began with the early loss of Sahibzada Farhan, but Haris and Saim Ayub (45 off 29 balls, 2 fours, 4 sixes) stitched together a dominant 92-run partnership off just 53 deliveries, with Haris contributing 53 runs to the stand.
The duo punished the bowlers after the opening over of the Powerplay, adding five fours and two sixes as Pakistan surged to 56 runs. In the three overs following the fielding restrictions, Haris and Saim plundered 33 runs before Tanzid Hasan dismissed Saim in the 10th over. Haris, who had already brought up his fifty off 25 balls in the same over, took Pakistan to 104/2 at the halfway mark.
Hasan Nawaz, batting at No. 4, maintained the momentum with a quick-fire 26 off 15 balls (2 fours, 2 sixes), contributing to an 18-ball 37-run partnership with Haris before being dismissed by Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the 13th over.
Needing 60 runs off the final seven overs, Haris and skipper Salman Ali Agha took charge, adding 38 runs in the next three overs with a flurry of boundaries. Haris, unbeaten on 94 off 42 balls at the end of the 16th over, had a chance to surpass Hasan Nawaz’s record for the fastest T20I hundred by a Pakistani. However, it took him three more balls to reach the milestone, finishing on a career-best 107* off 46 balls.
Salman (15* off 12 balls, 2 fours) struck the winning runs, securing his second T20I series victory as captain.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted their highest total of the series, thanks to a 110-run opening stand between Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan. Parvez top-scored with a blistering 66 off 34 balls (7 fours, 4 sixes), while Tanzid contributed 42 off 32 deliveries (3 fours, 3 sixes).
Pakistan made their breakthrough in the 11th over when Faheem Ashraf dismissed Tanzid, followed by Shadab Khan removing Parvez just three balls later. Bangladesh managed to add 83 runs off the remaining 53 balls but lost four more wickets along the way.
Towhid Hridoy (25 off 18) and Litton Das (22 off 18) shared a 49-run stand, while late cameos from Jaker Ali and Tanzim Hasan helped push Bangladesh past the 190-mark.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas Afridi and Hasan Ali took two wickets apiece, contributing to a well-rounded team performance.
