David Bedingham, promoted to open the innings alongside Aiden Markram (14* off 13 balls, 1x4), played a quickfire knock of 44* off 30 deliveries, including four boundaries and two sixes.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan resumed their follow-on innings at 213-1 in 49 overs. Nightwatchman Khurram Shahzad departed for 18 off 47 balls (3x4s) in the 59th over. Skipper Shan Masood then joined Kamran Ghulam (28 off 42 balls, 4x4s) to forge a 43-run partnership for the third wicket, which was broken by Kagiso Rabada in the 67th over.

Saud Shakeel followed soon after, falling to Rabada for 23 off 51 balls after adding 51 runs with Shan for the fourth wicket. In the 84th over, debutant Kwena Maphaka trapped Shan Masood leg-before, ending his valiant knock of 145 off 251 balls (17x4s) and leaving Pakistan at 329-5, still trailing by 92 runs.

At that point, Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha mounted resistance, adding 88 runs for the sixth wicket across 156 balls. However, Keshav Maharaj struck to dismiss Rizwan (41 off 75 balls, 2x4s) with a catch to Temba Bavuma at short cover. Maharaj then removed Salman, who fell for a gritty 48 off 95 balls (5x4s).

Late contributions from Aamir Jamal (34 off 43 balls, 7x4s) and Mir Hamza (16 off 20 balls, 1x6) added a 37-run eighth-wicket stand, helping Pakistan achieve a slender 57-run lead before being bowled out for 478 in 122.1 overs. Notably, Saim Ayub did not bat in either innings due to a right ankle injury sustained on the first day.

Chasing a modest target of 58, South Africa comfortably reached it in just 7.1 overs without losing a wicket, sealing a dominant 10-wicket win.
