At 122-5, Taimur was joined by captain Amad Butt, and the pair put together a match-winning 210-run partnership for the sixth wicket, overcoming the SNGPL bowlers. Amad narrowly missed a century, contributing 94 from 120 balls with nine fours and one six.

Taimur, batting at No.6, hit nine fours and six sixes in his remarkable innings. Earlier, SNGPL added just 20 runs to their overnight score before being dismissed for 261 in 62 overs.
