Batting first, Lahore posted their second-highest total of the season, reaching 209 for 6 in 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman led with 44 off 30 balls, supported by Mohammad Naeem (25), Abdullah Shafique (22), and Daryl Mitchell (28). Sikandar Raza (39 off 17) and Sam Billings (38* off 17) provided a late surge, adding 64 runs in just 23 balls.

Islamabad United, chasing 210, collapsed to 121 all out in 16.5 overs, losing nine wickets for just 41 runs in 44 balls. Andries Gous (41) and Salman Ali Agha (36) put on 69 for the second wicket, but after Salman was bowled by Raza, United’s innings unraveled. Haris Rauf and Sikandar Raza ran through the middle and lower order, with Haris also reaching his 300th T20 wicket milestone.

Imad Wasim (2-26) and Jason Holder (2-54) were the main wicket-takers for United. Sikandar Raza was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance.

Lahore Qalandars will next face Quetta Gladiators in tomorrow’s evening fixture at Gaddafi Stadium.
