Day 3 : Bangladesh 207/9, Pakistan 195/6d, Bangladesh 63/1 (14 overs) need another 487 runs to win

Pakistan began the day knowing early wickets would put them in total control. They got early wickets but Shakib (89*) played a blinder to get Bangladesh over 200

Wahab removed Sarkar with a full ball after a bouncer barrage to get into the tail. After this wickets fell quickly but Shakib played aggressively to give some hope to Bangladesh.

Pakistan decided not to enforce the follow on and opted to bat again to make Bangladesh chase a massive score on a wicket which is becoming more difficult for batting.

Hafeez departed early again but Azhar Ali and Younis Khan ensured the momentum was maintained. Wickets were lost regularly but the scoring rate remained close to 5. Misbah played an excellent innings of 82 from 72 balls to give the innings impetus. Pakistan declared on 195/6 to set Bangladesh 550.

Bangladesh began aggressively once again until late in the day Kayes was bowled by a ripper from Yasir Shah. With the pitch deteriorating Pakistan are favourites to win this match and the series.
