3-21 by Imad Wasim helped restrict the tourists to a below-par 103 which was expertly chased down thanks to Shoaib Malik's 43* off 34 balls.

Toss: Pakistan won the toss and chose to field.

Teams:

Pakistan: Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed (c and wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir, Sohail Tanvir, Rumman Raees.

West Indies: J Charles, ADS Fletcher (wk), CAK Walton, MN Samuels, DJ Bravo, N Pooran, KA Pollard, CR Brathwaite (c), SP Narine, JE Taylor, KOK Williams.

West Indies Innings

West Indies' innings began in a customary manner. For a change, they survived the first couple of overs but Imad strike twice in the third over. Fletcher was run out a couple of overs later as the batsmen struggled to bat fluently. Bravo looked threatening as he has at times but Imad returned and had him bowled to get his 9th wicket of the series. Pooran hit Nawaz for one humongous six but couldn't replicate the feat two balls later as he was caught at the boundary. Samuels and Pollard batted through the rest of the innings but couldn't build any momentum whatsoever as the bowlers varied their pace regularly and bowled according to the field, as Samuels finished with an unbeaten 59-ball 42. West Indies ended with a miserly 103/5.

Fall Of Wickets

1-12 (Charles, 2.2 ov)
2-12 (Walton, 2.3 ov)
3-17 (Fletcher, 4.4 ov)
4-31 (Bravo, 8.1 ov)
5-66 (Pooran, 12.4 ov)

Pakistan Innings

Pakistan got off to a decent start as they knocked the ball around and got the odd boundary but Williams' tight bowling eventually paid off. Sharjeel went for a big off-drive and was caught behind while Latif was bowled by an excellent off-cutter. Babar and Malik came together and played Narine with care. They rotated strike exceptionally well as the Windies' looked demoralised. Babar looked calm and composed while Malik ended with a flourish as he smashed a few boundaries at the end, finishing with 43* off 34 as Pakistan reached the target with 29 balls to spare.

Fall Of Wickets

1-36 (Sharjeel Khan, 5.1 ov)
2-40 (Khalid Latif, 5.6 ov)

Match Summary:

A win that will make Mickey Arthur a happy man. Pakistan kept their foot on the gas and made sure they didn't let up at any point as the bowlers bowled very well to ensure that the big hitters of West Indies couldn't get to a big score despite not getting them all out, and then a smooth chase after the openers were dismissed. Pakistan were really not challenged much in the series as they completed their first 3-0 whitewash in an IT20 series. Promising signs for Sarfraz Ahmed's team.
