Speaking exclusively to PakPassion.net, National Bank and Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Talha stated that he is targeting 50 wickets in this seasons Quaid E Azam Trophy competition. "I like to set myself targets and this season I have set myself the target of 50 wickets in Pakistan's premier first class competition", stated the 21 year old from Faisalabad.

Talha who has represented Pakistan once in test cricket during the home series against Sri Lanka said that he was happy with his form so far this season for National Bank. "I've managed to take 17 wickets in the 4 matches that I have played so far and its been great bowling in tandem with Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Aamer. Asif is really helpful in providing advice on how to bowl to different batsman and he really encourages me. Its great having someone as experienced as Asif alongside me in the team", added Talha.

Talha who must have been close to selection for the test series in New Zealand added that he was happy with slight changes that have been made recently to his run-up. "I feel in good shape and am comfortable with my run up and action. I hope that I can continue to have a successful season with National Bank and make the squad for the tour of Australia. I hope to catch the eye of the selectors and it would be great to tour Australia with the Pakistan team. For now though, the most important thing is for me to concentrate on tomorrow's match against Sui Gas Southern".
