22 year old left arm pace bowler Junaid Khan is making a steady recovery from the fractured patella that he picked up during training ahead of the second Twenty20 against England in Dubai.

PakPassion.net understands that Junaid has started light jogging but is not yet ready to start bowling.

Junaid has been predominantly swimming and doing upper body gym work with a view to maintaining his fitness levels, but he has not been given the go ahead by the medics to start bowling.

He is under the watchful eye of both PCB trainers when he is at the NCA and his local coaches when he is back home.

Junaid represented Lancashire last year in county cricket and hoped that he could secure a return to the same county this season, but he has been hampered by injuries recently.
