After the successful fitness tests of Shahid Afridi and Abdur Rehman yesterday, it was the turn of eight more players to prove how fit they are.

Harris Sohail, Sohaib Maqsood, Raza Hasan, Nasir Jamshed, Mohammad Irfan, Zulfiqar Babar, Sharjeel Khan and Usman Qadir went through rigorous fitness sessions, which included sit and reach, vertical jump, push-ups, prone bridging and lateral bridging, speed and agility and beep test.

Mohammad Irfan stunned all and sundry with his super fitness, while Usman Qadir was also impressive. Nasir Jamshed and Raza Hasan looked a bit lethargic, but managed to cross the targeted time on each occasion.

Selectors Azhar Khan and Saleem Jaffar were also supervising the players. Wahab Riaz and Azhar Ali were also present at the NCA. They had bowling and batting sessions respectively with Mohammad Akram. Wahab Riaz bowled some sharp deliveries, while Azhar Ali looked solid in defending them.

Coach Dav Whatmore was also busy watching Abdur Rehman face deliveries from the bowling machine. He gave him an odd tip whenever he judged any flaw in the stroke. Umar Akmal and Saeed Ajmal completed the list of players at the NCA, but didn't take part in any fitness session.
